RABB's Management Training Program
Run A Better Business programs include on-line self-paced training for entrepreneurs and mid-career managers. Our courses are differentiated by our accredited instructors and community approach. Training is available to develop both individual skills (general management) and team-based management skills (collaborative activities and structures to control/manage all aspects of the business).
Training for Individuals
Training for individuals follows the curriculum developed by The Management Institute and augmented by RABB to address further application of knowledge to specific areas of running a small business. Specifically, RABB components add case challenges and workbook activities based on the our business assessment and coach programs. Training is available through self-paced courses (below) or through a coaching engagement.
Training for Management Teams
The RABB training program is designed to accommodate team-based learning - whereas many training programs are individual-centric. Our course cohorts can bring individuals from multiple organizations, or they can be restricted to a single organization with an instructor that can explore specific challenges faced by the team as a whole.
Coaching and Advisory
Direct 1:1 coaching and advisory services are available through RABB's team of certified management consultants and project managers. Coaching/advisory services are based on a monthly retainer fee that can be carried forward as required. Our coaching relationship involves consultation and back-office work to complete tasks that may be difficult for your team to implement due to limited resources, know-how, or internal bias.
A coaching engagement always starts with a business assessment to determine current capabilities and objectives. The assessment has significant value as it is used to baseline objectives and measure velocity to stated goals. The engagement requires commitments from all parties as activities are designed to work on improvements or resolving difficult decisions.
The coaching engagement is built on trust and knowledge transfer. Like piano teachers, the business may outgrow a coach's expertise. We understand this and have built a team that can explore and "deep-dive" into specific challenge areas. The benefit of a RABB coach is our common top-down management framework and consistent terminology.
Available Online Training
Register on-line to access our community content, join a group of similar minded entrepreneurs, and complete the Run A Better Business training certificate. The program will give you the confidence to make bold decisions and control the activities of others necessary to grow beyond a DIY entrepreneur.
Register an account at Currik (our LMS) to access our (free) community courses and our certificate programs. Course costs are based on nature of the materials and delivery format. Our course directory includes self-paced online courses, synchronous instructor-led groups, and hybrid delivery options for remote learners.
